Sylvester Pine Essential Oil
- Latin name : Pinus Sylvestris

The essential oils come from the resins and young branches. They are about 150 varieties. The best comes from needles of Scandinavian and Russian pines. The essence is yellow and gives off a very pleasant balsamic odour which comes from its principal components: Pinede, sylvestrene, phellandrene and candinene.
Pine is a good antiseptic, excellent for the respiratory tracts (flu, colds and bronchitis) urinary tracts (treatment of cystitis). It is revitalising both for children and adults. It is anti-rheumatismal and is particularly efficacious when mixed with lemon and juniper.
